The babies are all growing quickly! So far we have three with deposits and I just put one pictures on our advertisements. They sure keep me busy from morning to night. Cleaning, feeding and that very special playtime which makes a nice socialized kitten.

We did manage to get some down time last week at the Columbus, Ohio TICA show. It was a PET EXPO and cat show and there were tons of people, Venders, shelters, animal hospitals and rescue groups. It was AMAZING!!!

We took three of the Birchbark gang. It was a Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday. They weren't quite sure of themselves Friday night, but by Sunday, they were pros! So proud of them!! Our silver spotted girl, Spotsnglitz EVV of Birchbark received a final Friday night and became a champion. Our Birchbark Ghostbuster received three finals and a total of 10 other second and third best of breeds! And our kitten Birchbark Black Velvet got three finals. She is a very typey silver charcoal marble. We call her Sweety Pie around the house!

Well I think I am caught up with the website for now, so purrs till next time!!!

Gloria

Chief Pooper Scooper

Sire is our 11 month old boy Birchbark Ghostbuster a seal mink spotted. There eyes are open and checking everything out. Hard to believe they will be three weeks old next Monday!!!! They are starting to eat on their own and make trips to the litter box. The smaller of the two will be going to his new home with Chanda in Terre Haute, In. She wants to train him for agilty and he will be a show alter. I know he will have a great home with Chanda and Josh!!!

Well check back for more updates!
NEW KITTENS

Spring has arrived here at the Bichbark Cattery here in Evansville,IN. The first of our spring litters was born on February 2nd (Groundhog Day). Sire is our wonderful QGC Birchbark Domino Pips who is a large, glittered silver spotted lovebug. Dam is our Birchbark Lil Bo Peep, a silver marble girl. For being a first time mom, she is doing a great job!! This was an experimental line breeding and it has turned out well. I am pleased with how healthy and typey these boys are.

Our second litter was born this week on the 21st under my big oldfashioned laundry room double sink. We had a litter of five brown spotted babies. Momma Margarita is a second time mom and very caring and attentive to her babies. I hope to sex them this weekend and get some pics! Sire is our RW QGC Birchbark Buckskin who is another lovebug! (He is Domino's half-brother)

We are expecting three more litters this Spring. There is going to be late snow (bengals) this

Spring. Ha! Ha!

New babies are so much fun, but a lot of work when they get past three weeks old!!

Catch ya all later!!!!
